# DMT Newcomer Information Welcome to the Discord Moderation Team (DMT). By joining DMT, you are becoming part of a team entrusted with maintaining the quality, professionalism, and integrity of Site Jacoby's community. The position comes with responsibility, and all members are expected to uphold the standards outlined below. ## Introduction The primary purpose of DMT is to ensure that the community remains welcoming, organized, and compliant with server rules. Moderators are expected to enforce rules fairly, assist community members when needed, and act as role models within the server. Being a moderator is not about having authority over others; it is about serving the community and helping create a positive environment for everyone. ## Professional Conduct All DMT members are expected to: - Remain professional while representing DMT. - Treat all users with respect, regardless of personal opinions. - Follow all Site Jacoby rules and policies. - Maintain maturity in public and internal channels. - Set a positive example for community members. - Accept feedback from higher-ranking staff members. Unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on both the individual and the team and may result in disciplinary action. ## Responsibilities As a DMT member, your duties include: - Monitoring server activity. - Responding to reports and concerns. - Enforcing rules consistently. - Assisting members with questions when possible. - Helping maintain a safe and organized environment. - Documenting moderation actions when required. You are expected to remain familiar with all server rules and moderation procedures. ## Use of Moderation Permissions Moderation permissions are provided to help maintain order within the server. They must never be used for personal reasons, jokes, revenge, or to win arguments. Before issuing any punishment, ensure that: - A rule has clearly been violated. - You have reviewed the situation fully. - The punishment is appropriate for the offense. - Evidence is available if needed. Always remember that moderation actions should be based on facts and evidence, not assumptions or personal feelings. ## Activity Expectations Members of DMT are expected to maintain a reasonable level of activity and contribution. This includes: - Monitoring channels regularly. - Handling reports when available. - Participating in discussions and team activities. - Staying informed about updates and policy changes. - Completing any assigned responsibilities or quotas. Consistent inactivity may result in removal from the team. ## Confidentiality Information discussed within DMT channels is considered internal unless stated otherwise. DMT members must not: - Leak internal discussions. - Share confidential information with unauthorized individuals. - Disclose ongoing investigations or reports. Trust is an essential part of being a moderator, and breaches of confidentiality are taken seriously. ## Final Statement Membership within DMT is a privilege, not a right. The team is built on professionalism, responsibility, and trust. Every action you take contributes to the reputation of both DMT and Site Jacoby as a whole. By remaining active, fair, and professional, you will help ensure that Site Jacoby continues to be a welcoming and well-managed community for all members. Welcome to the team. - Trial Period
# Trial Period All newly accepted members of the Discord Moderation Team will begin as a **Trial Moderator** and enter a **2-week trial period**. The purpose of this period is to evaluate your activity, professionalism, decision-making, and ability to perform moderation duties effectively. During your trial period, you are expected to: - Remain active within the server and DMT. - Regularly monitor chats and assist with moderation duties. - Follow all DMT guidelines and procedures. - Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with community members. - Complete a minimum of **4 moderation logs** throughout the trial period. At the end of the 2-week trial period, your performance will be reviewed by DMT leadership. Factors considered during the review include: - Activity level. - Quality of moderation actions. - Professionalism and maturity. - Ability to follow instructions and procedures. Failure to meet the minimum requirements, remain active, or demonstrate the expected standards may result in an extension of your trial period or removal from the team. - Authority & Hierarchy
# Authority & Hierarchy The DMT hierarchy exists to maintain structure, accountability, and efficient decision-making within the team. All members are expected to respect the chain of command and follow instructions issued by those above them, provided those instructions remain within Site Jacoby rules and DMT policies. ## Overseers Overseers hold the highest authority within DMT. They have absolute control over the department and are responsible for final decisions regarding leadership, staffing, policies, and disciplinary actions. All ranks, including High Command, are accountable to the Overseers. - DMO〙Discord Moderation Overseer `[1/1]` “Legend - 〘DDMO〙Deputy Discord Moderation Overseer `[1/1]` “Sky” --- ## High Command High Command operates directly under the Overseers and is responsible for overseeing the overall management and performance of DMT. They handle staffing matters, supervision of staff, internal coordination, and enforcement of department standards. - 〘HDM〙Head Discord Moderator `[2/2]` “Rafa” & “Geryy” --- ## Middle Rank Middle Rank members assist in supervision, training, and maintaining moderation standards across the team. They act as experienced moderators who support High Command in ensuring consistency and activity within DMT. - 〘SDM〙Senior Discord Moderator `[4/5]` - 〘ODM〙Official Discord Moderator `[2/∞]` --- ## Low Rank Low Rank members are responsible for carrying out the core moderation duties of DMT. They are expected to remain active, follow instructions from higher ranks, and maintain professionalism at all times. - 〘JDM〙Junior Discord Moderator `[2/∞]` - 〘TDM〙Trial Discord Moderator ---
General Information
- General Conduct
DMT Members must use proper English and Grammar when doing their duties. Do not ignore people, whether they’re trying to get out of a punishment, trying to appeal it, asking questions about the server, or anything. If someone is spamming/harassing/annoying you, you may punish them. PLEASE do not “@member ignore”. If you want to find someone, either do so with Discord’s search feature or type in their name in general and paste the full username into DMT Chat. If they are a member of the server, their ping will appear; however, they will not be pinged. (If they aren’t, you have to do <@ID >) - Publicity
DMT members are expected to uphold a higher standard of conduct than regular members. Even if certain behavior is not explicitly prohibited by a written rule, members of the DMT should remain respectful, professional, and approachable. The community should feel comfortable seeking assistance from DMT members, and maintaining that trust requires thoughtful behavior that reflects positively on the team and the server as a whole. - Tickets
Do not start tickets with things like "yo" or "what's up", etc. You must greet people with who you are and what you need. You must maintain a base level of professionalism in tickets. Respect the ticket claimer. If someone claims a ticket, let them handle it. Only jump in if you have something important or useful to add. Keep tickets orderly. Tickets are not for conversations or arguments. Take those to DMs or another channel. Focus on gathering all necessary information from the ticket opener and providing a clear response. One detailed message is better than dozens of short ones. Don't keep tickets open for too long, please! If the case has been handled, close it with the approval of the ticket opener ASAP. Always close the ticket with what the ticket was about, the outcome of it, and the people involved. ###### Pictures below taken from FHS :x: Incorrect way to close tickets: :white_check_mark: Correct way to close tickets: - Responding to Inquiries
Many server members come to mods' DMs for questions and reports. **Do not ignore inquiries.** Feel free to answer any question you get. If it’s something you don’t know, you can ask a higher-up, direct the member to one, or tell them to open a ticket. If you aren’t available, you may direct the member to open a ticket or go to someone else. Reports should not be kept in DMs. Always tell members to open a ticket in the main server, FHS if it happened in a faction/deparment, or OIB if the case is serious enough or external. - Wick Commands
### All members of the DMT should do a minimum amount of research into wick’s commands: [https://docs.wickbot.com/tags/commands/](https://docs.wickbot.com/tags/commands/ "smartCard-inline") ### Please do not use commands in public channels! ### If you do not understand manual commands, please use Discord’s bot commands feature by using Slash ( / ) **If you do a Wick command while replying to someone, despite the target not being them, it will do the command on the person you're replying to, AND the target.** This can be useful since you can just do !warn ?r while replying to the person you're warning, and it will target them, but it can also lead to doing a command on someone you didn't mean to. Please look out for that! #### don't use `!warn` for verbals (use #〘𝙳𝙼𝚃〙verbals), and don't use `!timeout` for warnings! If you want to warn and timeout someone do that with a `!warn` and a `!timeout` command **seperately** #### Command Structure - All commands begin with the prefix: _**“ ! “**_ Commands must include a **target** (ID) and a **reason**. #### Basic reasoning template for moderator commands: Punishment - Reason | Note (optional) **Example:** ``` !warn realgeryy ?r Strike - Disrespect ("You suck carbon") | Please refrain from disrespecting others, whether it's intentional or not. ``` #### Common Commands - `!ban (ID) 2w ?r [Reason]` – Bans a user for 2 weeks. - `!timeout (ID) [Duration] ?r [Reason]` – Temporarily mutes a user for a set time. - `!warn (ID) ?r [Reason]` – Issues a warning to a user. - `!mute (ID) [Duration] ?r [Reason]` – Restricts a user from chatting for a set time. - `!kick (ID) ?r [Reason]` – Removes a user from the server without banning. To find out exactly what to put for the reason, please visit [https://trello.com/c/f2UdPr8V/5-reasoning](https://trello.com/c/f2UdPr8V/5-reasoning "smartCard-inline") [https://docs.wickbot.com/](https://docs.wickbot.com/ "smartCard-inline") [Lockdown commands](https://docs.wickbot.com/commands/moderation/lockdown/ "") [Purge commands](https://docs.wickbot.com/commands/moderation/purge/ "") [Quarantine commands](https://docs.wickbot.com/commands/moderation/quarantine/ "") - DMT Misconduct
Any Discord Moderator, regardless of their rank, will receive a punishment if they do not behave accordingly. Punishments can be Verbal Warnings, Written Warnings, Strikes, Demotions, and, in the worst of cases, a purge from the DMT. The punishments will be given and approved ONLY by **HDM+**, and they depend on the type of misconduct done by the to-be-punished Moderator. If you notice misconduct by another DMT member, report it to **HDM+**.
Procedures
- Procedures
Procedures are what you should do in situations listed below. Doing moderator actions in any other situation is not allowed without permission from **HDM+**. - ---
- Hacked Acccounts
Hacked Accounts are not to be banned; instead, use the `!quarantine `command. This will lock them out of all channels except one, which has A&R’s server invite link. - Ragebait
##### Ragebait is messages intended to deliberately anger, upset, or provoke members into arguments or disruptive behavior. Always determine if the message(s) were intentionally provocative. Review the surrounding context. Verbally warn the user to stop. Escalate punishment if behavior continues. Issuing punishments for ragebait needs **HDM+** approval. Repeated ragebaiting counts as trolling. - Drama
##### Causing drama or talking about drama in the server is not allowed as it may escalate to more serious violations. Separate facts from accusations. Ask involved users to move the discussion to private channels if appropriate. Escalate punishment if behavior continues. “Talking about drama” means discussing topics that are directly related to drama that happened recently within the SCP:RP Community. - Trolling
Trolling is intentional disruption, misleading behavior, or provoking reactions for amusement. Always verify that the member’s only intent is to disrupt moderation or the flow of the channel/server. Verbally warn the user to stop. Escalate punishment if behavior continues. Issuing punishments for trolling needs **HDM+** approval. Report repeated trolling / trollers to **HDM+.** - Mini-Modding
Mini-Modding is when a user acts upon violations or enforces them verbally instead of contacting DMT. Tell these users to report violations via tickets instead of trying to do moderators’ jobs. Report repeated violation to **HDM+**. - Discussion of punishments
If a person trash talks about a punishment they got, tell them to stop or take it to private places. Clearly explain the violation and required action, and an explanation of the punishment. Always tell them if they think it is unjust, report it to OIB instead of making a big fuss about it to others. Give a reasonable opportunity for them to comply; timeout them if they don’t. Report repeated violation to **HDM+**. - Trashtalking servers
Trash-talking other servers or members within the SCP:RP community is not allowed. Treat it as a minor violation. The same goes for talking trash about Jacoby or members of it. If they think a staff member is not fit for their duties, or a team is corrupt, etc., tell them to report it to OIB instead of talking trash about them in public. - ---
- Staff Violations
DMT treats everyone the same. The same punishment regulations apply to staff members. If the violation is Moderate+, you must report it to their respective supervisors. If the violator is a Staff Team Overseer or above, you must report it to OIB. #### If a Staff Member breaches Discord ToS or SCP:RP FH Rules outside Jacoby, you must report it to OIB. #### If you see a staff member violating Staff Regulations, you must report it to OIB. - Threats to Moderation
Threats to the flow of Jacoby Moderation must be reported to **HDM+**. Threats to Moderation are when a person or group talks about jeopardizing or trolling moderation, if a person or group has shown signs of intentionally breaking rules in other servers, or the person or group is known for breaching rules, or talks about it publicly. It does not matter what server these happen on. - Raids
## Server Raid Protocol 1. **Lockdown:** Immediately lock down the server to prevent further disruption. 2. **Identify & Timeout:** Identify the members responsible and apply a timeout to restrict their activity. 3. **Assessment:** The moderation team should assess the situation and discuss next steps. 4. **Cleanup:** Once the incident is resolved, unlock the channels and remove any disruptive messages. - Server Nuking
## Server Nuke Protocol 1. **Detection:** The anti-nuke system will attempt to block any attack automatically. 2. **Admin Immunity Check:** If the attacker is one of the five admins with immunity, immediately notify DMT Lead Jacob (if not already alerted). 3. **Damage Control:** Once the threat is neutralized, trigger the backup system to restore affected areas. 4. **Investigation:** Conduct a full investigation to determine the cause of the nuke and the reason behind it.
Moderation
- Punishment Regulations
#### Recommended Wick Command reasoning template: ``` Violation - Violation severity (Minor/Moderate/2-Week Ban/Blacklist) | Note (optional ``` #### Example: ``` !warn realgeryy ?r Disrespect ("You suck carbon") - Minor Violation | Please refrain from disrespecting others, whether it's intentional or not. ``` ❌on a case means it has been revoked ✅on a case means it is valid --- Utilize Wick logs to see violator’s past violations. **Only look at warn and ban cases!** ###### In urgent situations, you may treat the violation as a first offense and raise it after determining the appropriate severity of the punishment. You may bypass this guide _to an extent_ with the approval of an **SDM+**. Warnings may be voided if they are more than 2 months old and no new violations have been committed in that time. --- Content in violation of rules is to be removed. If you verbally warn someone, please log it in the #verbals channel If a user has received a lot of verbal warnings, report it to **SDM+.** **Minor violations** are to be punished by a verbal warning for the first offense and a warning for second and consecutive offenses. (each violation maintains its own offense history) **Moderate violations** are to be punished by a warning for the first offense and 2 warnings for second and consecutive offenses. Each violation’s offense history carries over to other moderate violations #### 3 Warnings lead to a week ban. When a member has received the third warning, turn the 2 warning cases off (!caseoff <CASE ID>) and issue the ban. If the user was banned for a different reason or has left for a week+ it is to be counted as the ban and cases may be reset. --- ### **Timeouts** Timeouts can only be issued for the following: - Waiting for approval of a Blacklist/Ban - Investigations - Ignoring moderator instructions - Spamming - Trolling - Continuing actions right after timeout is over - Moderate Violations --- ### Bans ###### FAQ: Bans have a duration. Blacklist is permanent. You may only ban people with the approval of an **HDM+** Every time a member is banned, their cases (warnings, verbals) are reset. A second ban after a ban leads to a Blacklist. #### Probation When someone is on probation, any moderate+ violations they commit will lead to a blacklist. When someone is unbanned, they will automatically be assigned a 4-Month probation. --- ### Blacklists Only **HDM+** can Staff Blacklist people. You can only blacklist people with the approval of **DMO Legend**. If it is urgent and he is unavailable, **DDMO Sky** can also approve. --- - DMs & Other Servers
###### Group Chats are counted as DMs Only **SDM+** may enforce violations that happened outside servers run by Jacoby. #### Only Blacklist-worthy Discord ToS violations may be enforced externally. #### SCP:RP FH rules are to be enforced if the Server/GC is related to SCP:RP --- Factions are to enforce the rules themselves. Failing to do so is an FHS matter. If you see any violations of our rules on these servers, report it to FHS. However, you may punish HiCom+ of the faction for breaking rules. Departments also have to enforce rules themselves; however, you may also enforce rules yourself. If rule violations happen on a Department server, you are required to let the Department Head know. **Discord ToS and SCP:RP FH Rules are still enforced by us on faction servers.** --- DMs can be enforced by **JDM+** if it is clear as day that the DM is related to Jacoby, or something that happened in Jacoby. The only person who may report violations in DMs is one of the parties of the DMs. **Discord ToS is still enforced by us in DMs and GCs.** - Implication & Insinuation
If a message clearly implies a violation of rules, it should be seen the same way as an actual violation. By clear, I mean that if any person looks at the message, they will immediately know what’s up. If the person clearly does it to try and get around rules, it may be counted as an Exploitation of Loopholes. You may only issue punishments that involve implication with the approval of an **ODM+**. - Violations marked with 🟦"HDM+" are to not to be punished, instead be reported to HDM+.

- Illegal Content
Illegal Content is not to be punished, as we cannot accurately pinpoint what laws the violator has to follow. ### If you believe content on the server violates laws, report it to OIB.

“Treat everyone with respect. Avoid discrimination, harassment, **or being annoying.**” - Improper Voice Chat Usage
“Be respectful when talking in voice channels. Avoid interrupting, playing loud music, or using disruptive tools.” - Common Sense
Common Sense is a hard to enforce but important rule. It can be used for a violation that is not specifically outlined in rules, if it's common sense that it shouldn't be in a server. You may only issue punishments for this with the approval of an **SDM+**. It should be common sense what violates this rule, and what severity the violation is. - Relevant Topics
“Make sure your conversations are relevant to the channel you're in. This also means no side chatting in channels with a specific purpose. This helps keep discussions clear and focused.” - Breaking Channel Rules
If a channel has rules to it pinned, people must follow them.
Discord Community Guidelines
- Discord Terms of Service
All members have to follow Discord [Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms "") and [Community Guidelines](https://discord.com/guidelines ""). **NOTE:** Due to the repeated usage of third-party services like Vencord and BetterDiscord within the staff team, without punishment for it, it may not be counted as a violation of this. - ---
- RESPECT EACH OTHER
- 1. Do not promote, coordinate, or engage in harassment.
“We do not allow any type of harassing behavior, including sexual harassment, ban or block evasion, or coordinating server joins for the purpose of harassing server members, also referred to as “server raiding." (See our [Bullying, Harassment, and Threats Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/bullying-harassment-threats-policy-explainer "") for more.)” - 2. Do not threaten to harm another individual or group of people.
This includes direct, indirect, and suggestive threats. (See our [Bullying, Harassment, and Threats Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/bullying-harassment-threats-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 3. Do not share or threaten to share the personally identifiable information (PII) of an individual without consent.
This includes providing services that facilitate doxxing, such as buying or selling doxxes or compiling doxxes for others. (See our [Doxxing Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/doxxing-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 4. Do not use hate speech or engage in other hateful conduct.
This includes the use of hate symbols, imagery, and claims that deny the history of mass human atrocities. We consider **hate speech** to be any form of expression that either attacks other people or promotes hatred or violence against them based on their protected characteristics. (See our [Hateful Conduct Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/hateful-conduct-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 5. Do not organize, promote, or support violent extremism.
This also includes coordinating violent acts; glorifying or promoting violence or the perpetrators of violent acts; and promoting conspiracy theories that could encourage or incite violence against others. Do not create, post, solicit, share, or make attempts to distribute content on Discord that depicts, promotes, or attempts to normalize child sexual abuse.
This includes manipulated, non-manipulated, or synthetic (artificial intelligence-generated) media involving real, fictional, and/or anthropomorphized children. This also includes animation, drawing, text, and technical commands or prompts to create media depicting child sexual abuse or child sexualization. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and grooming to the [National Center for Missing & Exploited Children](https://www.missingkids.org/ ""), which may subsequently work with local law enforcement. (See our [Teen and Child Safety Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/child-safety-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 7. If you are under the age of 18, you may not engage in sexual conduct or any other conduct using Discord that puts your online or physical safety at risk.
This includes consensual sexual interactions between you and other teens of a similar age, as well as any encouragement or coordination of behavior that may be harmful for you or others, such as vigilantism. We want teens to be able to express themselves as authentically as possible on Discord. However, given the risks associated with online dating, we will remove spaces that encourage or facilitate dating between teens. (See our [Teen and Child Safety Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/child-safety-policy-explainer "") and our [Teen Safety Assist](https://discord.com/safety/safer-place-for-teens "") function for more.) - 8. (See our [Teen and Child Safety Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/child-safety-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 9. Do not make sexually explicit content available to anyone under the age of 18.
Discord users must be aged 18 or older to view, gain access to, or participate in adult sexual content on Discord. Server owners must apply an age-restricted label to any channels that contain sexually explicit content involving adults or content involving adults that is shared solely for the purposes of sexual gratification. Users may not post sexually explicit content in any space that cannot be age-restricted, including in avatars, custom statuses or bios, server banners, server icons, invite splashes, emoji, and stickers. (See our [Sexual Content Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/sexual-content-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 10. Do not share, distribute, or create sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content of other people over the age of 18 without the subject’s explicit consent.
This includes the non-consensual distribution of intimate media that was created either with or without an individual’s consent. (See our [Non-Consensual Adult Intimate Media Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/non-consensual-intimate-media-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 11. Do not share content that glorifies, promotes, or normalizes suicide or other acts of physical self-harm.
This includes content that encourages others to cut, burn, or starve themselves, as well as content that normalizes eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia. Self-harm acts or threats used as a form of emotional manipulation or coercion are also prohibited. (See our [Suicide and Self-Harm Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/suicide-self-harm-policy-explainer "") for more.) ### PROMOTING/GLORIFYING SELF HARM (e.g. telling someone to kill themselves) = 2-week ban - 12. Do not engage in activities that could damage or compromise the security of an account, network, or system.
This includes using deceptive techniques to trick others into revealing sensitive information (phishing), using malicious software (malware), and flooding a target with traffic in order to make a resource unavailable (denial-of-service attacks). (See our [Deceptive Practices Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/deceptive-practices-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 21. Do not use or attempt to use Discord to promote, coordinate, or execute financial scams.
A financial scam is any intentionally deceptive act taken with the intent to receive an illegal, unethical, or otherwise dishonest gain. (See our [Deceptive Practices Policy Explainer](https://discord.com/safety/deceptive-practices-policy-explainer "") for more.) - 22. [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1saDJpHPfxOKyLs0TqKMhFMURbW6EKe-f_O0A3aU0FEs/edit?tab=t.4um352777n1v](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1saDJpHPfxOKyLs0TqKMhFMURbW6EKe-f_O0A3aU0FEs/edit?tab=t.4um352777n1v "smartCard-inline") Any member found in violation of this is subject to a blacklist. These users must also be reported to SCP:RP FH. - ---
- Rules Individual Community Members Must Follow
Every individual in any community must follow these rules, and if broken, the appropriate punishment displayed under the rule will be enforced. - 1. All Platform ToS & Community Standards Still Apply
**Rule**: Do not violate Roblox/Discord TOS & Community Guidelines. **Links**: Discord [ToS](https://discord.com/terms "") & [Guidelines](https://discord.com/guidelines ""), Roblox [ToS](https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004647846-Roblox-Terms-of-Use "") & [Guidelines](https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Standards "") Note: If a user is found violating the platform ToS/Guidelines that have not been listed in this document. It falls on the responsibility of SCP: RP Moderation to take action, so it is in the reporter's best interest to forward their report to moderation rather than the Factions Hub. **Punishment**: N/A (Contact SCP: RP Moderation) - 2. No Privacy Violations (Doxing)
**Rule**: No releasing any personal information of others without their consent. **Example**: Sending someone's real name, school, city, or any other personal information in a Discord server or direct messages without their permission is considered doxxing. Even if the information is publicly available, sharing it after they have attempted to hide it, such as past usernames, old accounts, or previously leaked information, is still a violation. This breaks both [SCPRP Discord Rules](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vom_u445JpNEvyBom6DtJyBnddYjnXCTNHY1BrUSEZg/edit?tab=t.0 "") and the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/safety/doxxing-policy-explainer "") **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires proper screenshots or ideally a video that displays all direct evidence in full screen. Video evidence must be in mp4 format or uploaded in a Google Drive link for review. Certain points are noted here: 1. We will not accept cropped images or censored images under any circumstances. 2. If we believe the evidence has been tampered with, we will request that you follow a set of instructions to verify the authenticity of your evidence. 3. If the verification is denied or you fail to provide it, the report will be denied. **Punishment**: Permanent Blacklist (Potential MetaMethod Blacklist) and In-Game Ban - 3. No Severe Impersonation
Rule: Pretending to be MetaMethod Staff, SCP Roleplay Staff, Roblox Staff, Discord Staff, or any high-ranked figure in an SCP Roleplay community with malicious intent is strictly not allowed. Explanation and Examples: Severe impersonation occurs when an individual attempts to present themselves as a trusted or authoritative figure to obtain privileges, information, or assets from others. This usually involves manipulative behaviour or providing false information to achieve a larger goal. An example of severe impersonation would be attempting to impersonate a well-known staff member or community figure to gain access to restricted content, obtain assets, or influence users. An example of minor impersonation could be saying something along the lines of, "I am a moderator for SCP Roleplay, friend me or I will ban you." Although still prohibited, this is considered less serious than impersonation with malicious intent. Required Evidence: The Factions Hub requires clear screenshots or, preferably, a full video that displays all direct evidence in full screen. Staff may request screen sharing to verify evidence sources or ask for additional supporting evidence. Video evidence must be in .mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. Punishment: Temporary Blacklist (6-Months) > Permanent Blacklist Note: Suppose an individual attempts to steal assets, blackmail users, threaten to nuke or raid, or attempt to scam a user. In that case, they will be punished according to the punishments listed under the corresponding rule. - 4. No Scams, Phishing, or Malicious Links
**Rule**: Deceptive practices, including scams, phishing attempts, or sharing malware, are strictly forbidden. These actions violate the Discord Terms of Service, and they also break SCPRP Rules. **Explanation and Example**: This includes any attempt to deceive users by sending harmful links, impersonating a trusted individual or company, or trying to steal personal information or assets. **Example**: A user sends a link to a malicious website designed to steal login information, or pretends to represent an official organisation to obtain personal data. This rule does not apply to compromised accounts. Compromised accounts must be handled by SCP Roleplay Discord moderators. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires full screenshots or, preferably, a complete video that displays all direct evidence in full screen. Any Discord server links provided by scammers must be included for investigation. Staff may request a screenshare to verify sources or may ask for additional evidence. Video evidence must be in mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: Permanent Blacklist **Note**: Doxxing someone with the usage of malicious links will result in a Permanent Ban on Discord and in SCP: Roleplay. - 5. No Inappropriate and Sexual Content Involving Minors (Child Pornography)
**Rule**: Content that involves minors in an inappropriate or sexual context is strictly prohibited. This violates the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/safety/child-safety-policy-explainer ""), federal law in multiple regions, and SCP Roleplay community rules. Any involvement in such behaviour will result in immediate and severe action. **Explanation and Examples**: This rule applies to all forms of content, regardless of intention. Any jokes, images, statements, roleplay messages, or discussions referencing inappropriate conduct with minors are treated as a serious crime. **Example**: Sending or generating sexualised images of minors, making jokes about sexual activity involving minors, or engaging in conversations that imply or describe inappropriate behaviour with a minor. Any form of content that even suggests inappropriate interactions with minors is considered a severe violation. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires clear screenshots or, ideally, a complete video that displays all direct evidence in full screen. Staff may request a screenshare to verify evidence sources or may ask for additional supporting evidence. Video evidence must be provided in .mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: MetaMethod Blacklist - 6. No Realistic Gore and NSFW
**Rule**: No sharing of any content containing realistic or real-world depictions of not safe for work content, extreme gore, graphic violence, or death. This behaviour violates the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/safety/violence-graphic-content-policy-explainer "") and is strictly prohibited across all SCP Roleplay communities. **Example**: This rule applies to any media or message that displays or encourages explicit violence, gore, or adult content. Posting real-life accident footage, explicit gore, or videos and images involving graphic violence or death. This includes public executions, traffic accidents, suicides, or any content that contains real-world physical harm or disturbing visuals. Sharing any form of not safe for work content, including explicit adult imagery, also falls under this rule. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires clear screenshots and a full video that displays all direct evidence in full screen, as well as the gore or not safe for work media provided separately for verification. Staff may request a screenshare to verify evidence sources or may ask for additional supporting evidence. Video evidence must be provided in mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: MetaMethod Blacklist if gore-related or Permanent Blacklist if NSFW-related. - 7. No Encouraging/Promoting Illegal Activities
**Rule**: Any activity that promotes breaking the law is strictly forbidden. This behaviour violates the Discord Terms of Service and is not tolerated in any SCP Roleplay community environment. This rule includes any action, instruction, or encouragement that involves unlawful behaviour. **Example**: A user encouraging others to hack accounts or teaching them to break the law violates this rule. Illegal activities include, but are not limited to, illicit drugs, smuggling, swatting, robbery, and any other criminal act. Attempting to instruct, assist, or motivate another person to engage in these activities is a severe violation. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires complete screenshots or, ideally, a full video that displays all direct evidence in full screen. Staff may request a screenshare to verify evidence sources or may ask for additional evidence if necessary. Video evidence must be provided in mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: Permanent Blacklist to a MetaMethod Blacklist, depending on the case. - 8. No Nuking
**No Organising Raids or Nuking Sessions** **Rule**: No organising raids or nuking sessions against communities on Discord. This behaviour violates the Discord Terms of Service and is strictly prohibited across all SCP Roleplay-related spaces. **Example**: Raids and nukes are coordinated attacks on Discord servers intended to cause chaos, disruption, or irreversible damage. Organised attacks against community servers designed to cause chaos and irrecoverable damage through actions such as deleting channels, deleting roles, banning or kicking all members, spamming malicious content with multiple accounts, or adding bots to terrorise a server in general. Any attempt to plan, assist, or participate in these activities is considered a severe violation. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires clear screenshots or, ideally, a full video that displays all relevant audit logs from the server during the nuke. This includes role updates, webhooks that were created, bots that were added, or members being banned. Staff may request additional evidence if needed. Video evidence must be provided in mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: Temporary Blacklist (Duration Dependent On Severity) > Permanent Blacklist - 9. No Asset Theft
**Rule**: There must be no possession, distribution, or use of a creator's assets without their clear consent. This includes builds, models, scripts, uniforms, game designs, or any other form of intellectual property created by an individual or a group. **Example**: A player steals a custom-made model created by another developer and uploads it into their own experience, or shares the model file with others, without the original creator's agreement. This includes taking assets from games by using third-party software or methods that extract models or scripts without permission. Required Evidence: Evidence must clearly show that the reported asset belongs to the original creator and is being possessed, used, or distributed without their consent. This may include screenshots, videos, comparison images, timestamps, or written confirmation from the original owner. Additional evidence may be requested if the initial proof is not sufficient. **Punishment**: Permanent Blacklist from the Discord Server & Game - 10. No Promotion of Terrorist Groups, Extremist Organisations or Prolific Individuals
**Rule**: Any form of content that promotes, glorifies, supports, or attempts to justify extremist groups, terrorist organisations, or individuals associated with extremism is strictly prohibited. This includes political extremist groups, violent organisations, and well-known individuals connected to terrorism or extremist ideology. **Example**: A player posts messages praising the actions of a banned militant leader, or attempts to glorify, justify, or promote the activities of a terrorist organisation. This includes using extremist symbols, sharing propaganda, or attempting to influence others to support extremist ideologies. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires clear and direct evidence showing the promotion of extremist or terrorist content, which may include screenshots displaying the full message with username and context, or a full-screen recorded video in mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. **Punishment**: Permanent Ban from the Discord Server & Game - 11. Blackmail
**Rule**: Blackmail often involves using personal information, past actions, or fabricated claims as leverage. Roblox and Discord Terms of Service strictly forbid threatening, coercive, or manipulative behaviour, including attempts to obtain information or actions through intimidation. This includes any threat involving doxxing, harassment, exposure, or pressure to engage in scams or fraudulent activity. **Example**: A user threatens to leak another person's private information unless they provide an item, in-game currency, or perform a specific action. Another example is a user attempting to force someone into a scam by threatening to expose their past actions or by using any leverage that creates fear or pressure. Required Evidence: The Factions Hub requires screenshots or, ideally, a video that'd display all direct evidence in full screen. Staff may ask for screen sharing to verify evidence sources or ask for additional evidence. Video evidence should be in mp4 format or be in a Google Drive. **Punishment**: Permanent Ban from the Discord Server - 12. Active Cooperation with MetaMethod Blacklisted Users
**Rule**: Actively affiliating yourself with individuals who are MetaMethod Blacklisted is strictly prohibited. Any form of cooperation, assistance, or engagement with a MetaMethod Blacklisted user is considered a violation, including actions that directly or indirectly support the behaviour that resulted in their blacklist. These individuals were removed due to severe misconduct, and continued engagement with them increases the likelihood of repeated harmful activity and undermines community safety. Roblox and Discord Terms of Service clearly prohibit facilitating harmful actions, participating in prohibited behaviour, or supporting users involved in serious violations. **Example**: A user continues to remain in contact with a MetaMethod Blacklisted individual, attempts to help them bypass restrictions, or participates in activities similar to those for which the blacklisted person was removed. This includes relaying information, assisting them in evading bans, or coordinating actions with them in or outside of Roblox. **Required Evidence**: The Factions Hub requires clear and direct evidence proving cooperation with a MetaMethod Blacklisted user. This may include screenshots showing the full conversation with usernames and context, or a full-screen video in the mp4 format or uploaded through a Google Drive link. Staff may request screen sharing to verify the legitimacy of the evidence or ask for additional proof where necessary. Punishment: MetaMethod Blacklist - 13. Character Assassination is Strictly Prohibited
**Rule**: Severe defamation, such as severe false claims that would regularly result in moderation actions, is prohibited. **Example**: Spreading or creating rumours about someone to attempt to harm their reputation to the point of falsifying evidence or making drastic false claims is considered Character Assassination. Required Evidence: The Factions Hub requires you to provide evidence behind the accusations made against you and a dispute/refute of the evidence to signal that the accusations were an assassination of one's character. **Punishment**: Temporary Blacklist - ---
